Testamur Applicants Eligibility

If you are a Fellow or Resident in your PENULTIMATE or FINAL year of training; AND have completed Level 2 cardiac CT training within your Fellowship/Residency you are eligible to sit for the CBCCT exam as a Testamur. In order to be granted Diplomate status you must submit evidence of passing the Cardiology or Radiology boards. You will have two exam cycles after completion of your Fellowship/Residency to provide such evidence. If it is not received after two exam cycles then your Testamur status will lapse and the CBCCT exam must be retaken to become a Diplomate.

The CBCCT eligibility criteria for cardiology and nuclear medicine specialists adhere to the ACCF/AHA Clinical Competency Statement on Cardiac Imagining with Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance (Vol. 46 No 2, 2005).
