Changing Status from Testamur to Diplomate

If you passed your cardiology boards you can now be listed as a CBCCT Diplomate, CONGRATULATIONS! To make the change in CBCCT records, we must receive a fax with your ABIM letter, or printout from ABIM website. If there is more than one individual listed on the printout, circle your data. We must also have a photocopy of your unconditional, current medical license. Fax the documents to +240.631.8152.

2010 Candidate Bulletin Now Available

The 2010 CBCCT exam registration window is now open. The exam will be offered on Tuesday September 14 and Wednesday September 15, 2010. To receive the Candidate Bulletin and application click the "Send me an Application" link above, or view it online by clicking the "Certification" link in the left column. The regular application deadline is May 28 with a $895 registration fee and the final deadline is July 23 with a $1095 fee.

CBCCT Eligibility in 2010

The CBCCT eligibility criteria for cardiology and nuclear medicine specialists adhere to the ACCF/AHA Clinical Competency Statement on Cardiac Imagining with Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance (Vol. 46 No 2, 2005). Note that the competency criteria related to case-based experience have been permanently adopted by the ACC, and will not lapse in 2010 as originally scheduled.
